Product care guide
Thoughtful care helps your bedding stay comfortable and look its best. Always check the sewn-in care label first, as blends, fillings and finishes can need different treatment.

A dense, substantial polyester fabric. Lower heat helps preserve its surface, loft and shape.
Wash
Wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle with similar colours. Use a mild liquid detergent, keep the load roomy and avoid bleach.
Dry
Air dry where possible. If the care label permits tumble drying, choose low heat and remove promptly.
Finish & store
Avoid high heat. If needed, use a cool iron with a pressing cloth. Store only when fully dry.

Soy fibre may be used alone or as part of a blend or filling, so gentle handling is especially important.
Wash
Follow the sewn-in label. When washable, use a cold or 30°C delicate cycle, mild detergent and a low spin. Do not wring.
Dry
Reshape while damp and air dry flat or well supported. Avoid direct high heat and strong sunlight.
Finish & store
Do not iron fillings. For a woven blend, use only the lowest label-approved heat. Store dry and uncompressed.

A practical, resilient fibre that keeps its shape best when washed and dried at lower temperatures.
Wash
Wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle with similar colours and a mild detergent. Avoid chlorine bleach.
Dry
Line dry or tumble dry on low only when the care label allows. High heat can damage fibres or finishes.
Finish & store
Usually little ironing is needed. If necessary, iron on low from the reverse side.

Also known as elastane, this stretch fibre is sensitive to heat and harsh chemicals.
Wash
Wash cold or at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Use mild detergent and avoid bleach and fabric softener.
Dry
Air dry away from radiators and strong sunlight. Do not use high tumble-dryer heat.
Finish & store
Do not iron the stretch areas unless the care label specifically permits a very cool setting.

A long-staple cotton valued for its smooth feel. Gentle cycles help protect that refined surface.
Wash
Wash at 30–40°C, choosing the lowest temperature shown on the care label. Use mild detergent and wash colours separately.
Dry
Line dry for best longevity, or tumble dry on low if permitted. Remove promptly and smooth by hand.
Finish & store
Iron on medium from the reverse while slightly damp if desired. Store clean and completely dry.

Wash
Wash at 30°C on a delicate cycle with mild liquid detergent. Turn items inside out and use a low spin.
Dry
Air dry away from strong sunlight. Avoid over-drying; tumble dry only if the care label allows it.
Finish & store
Steam lightly or iron on low from the reverse. Fold only when completely dry.

This family includes fibres such as viscose and modal. They can be more delicate while wet.
Wash
Use a 30°C delicate cycle, mild detergent and a low spin. A large laundry bag can reduce pulling and friction.
Dry
Reshape gently and air dry flat or well supported. Do not wring or expose to high heat.
Finish & store
Use low heat from the reverse if ironing is allowed. Avoid hanging heavy wet items by one edge.

A breathable natural fibre that softens with use and responds well to straightforward, gentle care.
Wash
Wash at 30–40°C with similar colours and a mild detergent. Reserve hotter washes for white items only when the label permits.
Dry
Line dry when possible, or tumble dry on low if allowed. Remove promptly to reduce creasing and shrinkage.
Finish & store
Iron on medium while slightly damp if needed. Store in a cool, ventilated space.

A soft synthetic fibre that can lose shape or develop shine when exposed to excessive heat.
Wash
Wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle using mild detergent. Avoid bleach and do not overload the machine.
Dry
Reshape and air dry flat where possible. Avoid high tumble-dryer heat and direct contact with radiators.
Finish & store
Usually no ironing is needed. If the label allows it, use a cool iron with a cloth between iron and fabric.
